A metaphor is a comparison between two things that are not alike but have similarities
E.G you are my sunshine
your a star
the worlds a stage
What is a simile? it is comparing two unlike things by using like or as
E.G as quiet as a mouse
As big as an elephant
As bold as brass
I am as bright as a button shining
My friend is as stubborn like a mule
