Forces

What is a force

1.
strength or energy as an attribute of physical action or movement.  push or pull

what are the different types of forces

  • Applied Force.
  • Gravitational Force.
  • Normal Force.
  • Frictional Force.
  • Air Resistance Force.
  • Tension Force.
  • Spring Force.

contact forces

In physics, a contact force, is a force that acts at the point ofcontact between two objects, in contrast to body forcesContact forces are described by Newton's laws of motion, as with all other forces in dynamics.

non contact forces

The force which acts on an object without coming physically in contact with it is called non-contact force. The most familiar example of a non-contact force is weight. In contrast a contact force is a force applied to a body by another body that is in contact with it.
