Food scientist=studies food

- look at texture,taste,causes of food going off/bad.
- Making new foods.
-best ways to package food.
- shelf life (how long the food lasts in good condition).
-evaluate the food.
-interaction of ingredients used.
-improving +changing flavours.
-affect of bacteria and spoil the food,causing illness.
-ways to preserve food e.g put them in the fridge,freezer,canning food.
-checking how cooking affects the ingredients.


Sherbet

ingredients for making sherbet
1/4c icing sugar
1 tsp raro
1/4 t citric acid
1/4t tartaric acid
1/4t baking soda

Add together in plastic bag and mix and enjoy

When it got the sherbet it smelled tasty
 when i tasted the sherbet it tasted horrible because it was sour.



Hokey pokey

5t sugar
2t golden syrup
1t baking soda
add stir vigorously
heat gently
stir constantly
