Mosaics

Aim

  • To separate white light into the colours of the visible spectrum
  •

Research

I googled how does light make colours and found out some colours appear different colours because they absorb other different colours. The human eye and brain together turns  light into color. light tracs within the eye gives messages to the brain.

equipment

Ray box,single slit ray slide,power source,prism

Method

Set up a ray box with a single slit ray slide
Place a glass prism over the area indicated below
Aim the single beam at the prism, ensuring that the beam of light is hitting the prism on a steep angle as indicated by the arrow on the diagram. You may need to adjust it slightly in order to get the spectrum to appear

I made light with a ray box and the light turned out good and I mixed different colours and they turned out cool

Gymnastics

What i enjoyed today in gymnastics was trying a bear roll it is where you sit on the floor and you spread your legs out to the side and you roll around in a circle and you keep going around till you get dizzy.I did my best to achieve the roll.
